well I've decided to start building on my skill set.  
Visual Web Developer 2005 Express Edition which happens to comprise of:
- Visual Basic 2005 Express Edition
- SQL Server 2005 Express Edition
- dotNET Framework v2.0

so what does this mean?  I'm starting my adventure into the world of ASP.NET2, SQL and Visual Basic.

These are all FREE from Microsoft (which I never knew actually existed until a few days ago (get it here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/express/vwd/download/). I've just started the online Guided Tour and it wasn't that painful.  I was thinking I'll do this as quickly as possible but then decided to take it slowly to be able to absord as much of the new language(s), interfaces and concepts of VWD.
